Kenneth has a BSc in Civil Engineering from Makerere University, Uganda a MSc in Environmental Engineering with Business Management from Imperial College London, UK and he has completed the Chartered Financial Analysts (CFA) Program. He is an infrastructure development and finance and professional with over 17 years’ industry experience in Africa, the UK, Middle East and Asia. He is a dual Civil Engineering / Finance professional with proven leadership skills and the ability to build, motivate and drive teams to deliver both at strategic and operational levels. He has gained experience as an Infrastructure and Capital Projects Advisor with global consulting firms including Deloitte (Uganda, East Africa, UK), Atkins Plc (now SNC Lavalin), Black and Veatch and Royal Haskoning. He has been responsible for overall management strategy and business development, growth, marketing, project execution and operational management, financial management and client relationship management for infrastructure projects and businesses at both early/start up and mature operating phases. Kenneth undertakes technical and financial aspects of the execution of infrastructure projects both corporate and project financed projects including financial and investment structuring, economic/financial analysis and modelling, programme management and advisory, preparing feasibility studies, undertaking due diligence, preparation of project bankable documents and gaining successful financial close and post financial close implementation. Kenneth has gained management consulting experience working across different industries (Real Estate, Transport, Energy and Resources, Financial Services, Public Sector) in helping organisations define, setup and execute on their strategies.
